As medical residents, Dr. Robert Record and Dr. John Fischer dreamed of opening a clinic to help eliminate the healthcare gap in our community. Their dream became a reality in March 2009 when Christ Health Woodlawn opened. Since opening, the healthcare ministry has provided medical services at nearly 350,000 patient visits, provided dental care nearly 50,000 times, and filled over 250,000 prescriptions.
We exist to see the sick made well and the well made whole. The work we are doing at Christ Health goes well beyond treating the sick. We are committed to the physical, mental, and spiritual health and well-being of our patients. More than simply seeing the sick made well, at Christ Health, we strive to see the well made whole and each patient living life abundantly.
Our patients have access to the very best in primary care, psychiatry, and dental services. We accept most types of insurance, including Medicare and Medicaid, and offer a sliding scale fee-for-service option to our patients who qualify.
